How is age calculated exactly?
Age is calculated by counting the full years, months, and days between the date of birth and the target date, accounting for leap years and varying month lengths.
What is a leap year?
A leap year occurs every 4 years (with some exceptions for century years) and has 366 days instead of 365. If you were born on 29 February, your birthday technically falls on 28 February or 1 March in non-leap years depending on the country.
